5 arrested over MySpace threat
5 nabbed in blog threat case:
Five teenage girls were arrested for witness tampering, among other charges, for posting threatening messages on a MySpace blog against a Greenwich High School student who they believed was going to testify against a friend of theirs on a drug possession charge.
Witness tampering is a felony.
So out of these 5 girls not one of them had a parent who cared enough to check up on their online activity. Are parents just clueless in the ways of modern technology or do they just not care?

GHS copes with rough start to ‘06:
In the entry about 5 Greenwich High students that were arrested over a blog threat I mistakenly said it was on a MySpace blog. According to the article it was a Xanga blog.
