Jenison Junior High Xanga Threat
Eighth-graders in trouble for blog threats:
We have another threat posted on a Xanga site against another school in Michigan…
The Internet Xanga message last week from a Jenison eighth-grader was direct:
“Hey. What’s up? I want a gun so I can shoot up the school. Bang, bang, they all die,” he wrote. “(Expletive) preps should all die and burn in hell.”
The next day, two eighth-grade girls, also from Jenison Junior High, responded online. Both agreed to help.
“I am willing to shoot them with you if you want me to,” wrote one of the girls, who went on to complain about math class.
All three students have been suspended and are facing expulsion.
I swear that these instances are happening with younger and younger kids.
Each time this happens it needs to be asked, why are the parents letting their kids post this crap on the internet? You’re the parent. Be in control of your damn kids.
