myspaceWatch

by Trench on March 23rd, 2006

I just heard about this site called myspaceWatch. Here’s what they do…

myspaceWatch.com is a service that allows you to monitor login activity, track profile changes, and keep a running history of up to 3 myspace.com profiles. Are you a parent who banned your child from myspace only to see that they keep logging on, or keeping multiple accounts? Is your significant other living a double life? We keep track and monitor activity so you don’t have to. We also don’t ask for any of your personal information.

On the one hand it’s a good tool for parents to keep track of their kids. On the other it can be used for some serious stalikng.

Double edged sword.

There is another site I found called KidQuery (www.kidquery.com) that is directed completely to parents. They search several social-networking sites and offer reports to parents about the sensitive data their child is disclosing … and Yes, I’ve used this site myself and found it useful!
