(Southbury-WTNH, Apr. 13, 2006 8:04 PM) _ What firefighters say began as a joke on myspace.com has turned into suspensions and an investigation by the chief.
Four Southbury volunteer firefighters were suspended last month after posting what officers say were graphic pictures and comments on the popular web site.
Other firefighters who defended them to a newspaper were also suspended.
Under the Southbury bylaws, the chief can discipline firefighters for any reason he sees fit.
Again I have nothing but respect for firefighters. I don’t know if I could run into a burning building. However you guys have just won the Red Forman Dumbass Award.
