Florida police using MySpace to try and catch robbery suspect
Police Looking For Robbery Suspect With MySpace Account:
Police say they hope the online site MySpace.com will help them locate an armed robbery suspect.
Investigators said that on March 29, two men approached a man in the 6400 block of Winfield Boulevard. One of the men was armed with a handgun, according to the man. The robbers demanded the man’s wallet and other property.
Later, investigators located one of the robbery suspect’s photos posted on his personal web page on the MySpace.com Web site.
Detectives are asking anyone who recognizes the suspect to call Broward Crime Stoppers at (954) 493-TIPS.
