The first rule of MySpace is don’t talk about MySpace

by Trench on April 26th, 2006

Girls Fight in MySpace Video, Parent Looks On:

It was a violent beating caught on tape and posted on the internet for everyone to see. Now the Fresno Police Department is investigating it.

Fights are nothing new, but the one that broke out in this street is different. Not only was the fight taped, it’s now appearing on the popular website Myspace.com and there’s one thing about the tape that many are finding very disturbing.
The fight lasts close to seven minutes on tape, and clearly shows an all-out brawl in the middle of the street.

During the fight, an adult who witnesses have identified as the mother of one of the girls watches the entire event.

“I was in shock. I was in total shock and I could not believe the mother was there helping her daughter fight my daughter,” said mother Diane Thrower.

Thrower says she felt sick when she learned about the fight. She called police to file a report.

A police department commander tells Action News “I have viewed the video and was outraged by what I saw. I have immediately assigned the case to a detective. A full investigation is underway before we can determine charges for anyone involved.”

And America continues it’s descent into becoming one big Jerry Springer Show.

    LOL @ headline.

I had a thought in the shower today that America hasn’t evolved sociologically in a typical sense, but in a sense equatable to a radioactive mutant.

Good call on the daytime T.V.
