Registered sex offender arrested in Texas
Sex Offender In Custody For Assault & Pornography:
(CBS 11 News) JOSEPHINE A registered sex offender has been arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a teenage boy. Now, the U.S. Secret Service and local police are investigating the man for possession of child pornography.
Suspect Richard Sesma lives in the Town of Josephine, in East Collin County.
Josephine police say the man solicited boys on Myspace.com, and they don’t know how many victims there could be.
Police say 44-year-old Sesma, a registered sex offender, could have been having cybersex with your children.
�There�s a large number of victims out there, we just don’t have all of them identified yet,� said Chief Kevin Mayberry, Josephine Police Department.
Last week, Sesma was arrested, accused of having sex with a 15-year-old boy in his car in Copperas Cove, near Waco.
Investigators say their relationship began at the popular website for teenagers Myspace.com.
�Made one trip down to meet him at a school function and later on, ended up taking a cell phone to him because the kid was getting on the phone too much,� said Sgt. Greg Rookwood, Josephine Police Department.
Police say just the day before his arrest; Sesma admitted having sex with an Austin boy.
Police say they seized over 100 DVD’s, Sesma’s cell phones, and his computer.
That computer held the names of more than 200 boys in Sesma’s Myspace.com account.Authorities say Sesma admitted having more than 500 computer images of child pornography.
The U.S. Secret Service is reviewing his computer and cell phones.
Police say Sesma was a convicted in California in 1995. After serving time in prison there, he moved to Plano in 2004, then to Josephine.
I have not found his MySpace at this time.
