(NEWS 3) - A criminal case against a Battle Creek man will continue despite claims by the suspect that he was set up by police during an internet sting in February.
Lawyers for Brian Woodman claim he was the victim of police entrapment, but a judge ruled today that Emmett Township public safety officers acted legally when they posed as a 14-year-old girl on MySpace.com.
Woodman is charged with eight counts of using a computer to solicit a minor for immoral purposes.
The 32-year-old was arrested when he arranged to meet the undercover officer for sex.

Drop dead! That’s my husband you’re talking about and you don’t even know the whole case. For example, how the officer email him several times through yahoo not Myspace and asked to meet him. You know nothing of real predators. I’m a victim of a real predator, my sister’s ex husband.
