(NEWS 3) - A Battle Creek man accused of trying to lure an underage girl using the internet has pleaded no contest to eight counts of soliciting a minor with a computer.
Brian Woodman was arrested for trying to set up a meeting with what he thought was a 14-year-old girl. Police were posing as the girl in the popular social web site MySpace.com.
Prosecutors and Woodman’s attorney agreed on a plea bargain that allows Woodman to withdraw his plea if the Michigan Court of Appeals rules in his favor on the issue of whether police entrapped Woodman.
Wow, that couldn’t be anymore vague.
And Woodman’s MySpace is still up.
