Another school, another ban, this time in England…
A head teacher has banned pupils from using an internet chatroom and urged parents to monitor their children more closely after pupils posted lewd pictures of themselves on a website.
The girls at Helston School and Community College in Helston, Cornwall, put “provocative” images on the Bebo website showing them in revealing clothes and discussing sexual preferences. The mother of one of the girls found the pictures and told the school, although it is possible that the images were posted from home computers.
Pat McGovern, the head teacher, said he was “staggered” by the images, had a filter put on the school’s internet access and called a meeting between staff, pupils and police to warn of the dangers involved.
They’re obviously not taking lewd pictures at school. So where must they be taking tham I wonder? It couldn’t be in their parents’ house could it?
