I was thinking today about why would McCombs and Brown try to flee to Canada after killing Ashton Glover when Mexico is so much closer. It’s possible that they took a gamble on Canada thinking that Canada would not allow them to be extradited since there’s a chance they might be put to death if found guilty. Luckily they never reached Canadian soil.
