Neighbor Charged With Murder in Death of 5-Year-Old Utah Girl:
SALT LAKE CITY — Prosecutors on Thursday charged a man with kidnapping and aggravated murder in the death of a 5-year-old girl, saying he confessed to smothering the girl, then sexually assaulting her — a crime that could bring the death penalty.
Destiny Norton had been missing for eight days when police found her body Monday night stuffed in a plastic storage box in a cellar at the man’s house just two doors away, prosecutor Bob Stott said at a news conference to announce the charges Thursday.
The neighbor, Craig Roger Gregerson, 20, will be appointed a defense lawyer at a court appearance scheduled for Friday, he said.
Authorities added a few details about the girl’s disappearance and why police couldn’t find her body the first time they searched Gregerson’s tiny row house unit. The final search came after Gregerson confessed to killing the girl and directed police to a storage container hidden in a “tight, confined basement with a lot of material down there,” Stott said.
Thanks to mega-tipper Angie we have Gregerson’s MySpace. There’s no information that can be gained from it though as it’s bare bones.

This reminds me of the Jessica Lunsford murder in Florida.
The dogs were brought out in Utah. Does anyone know if the dogs were used to track little Jessica in Florida?
BTW, this scumbag Gregerson will be put to death, be it by state or inmate.

Me personally, I think the death penalty would let this parasite off easy, since it would be quick and painless compared to what he did to her.
Instead if it were up to me, I would toss his @ss into the general population and let “jailhouse justice” take over, at the same time keeping this slug alive long enough to experience “the worst the inside has to offer” to the point he begs to die…only to continue suffering for the rest of his days, literally!
Take it from me, he is dead meat before he even sees the judge.

Whenever someone goes missing in Utah, national media is demanded by Utahn’s.
In this case, the press was a little tired of Utahn’s cryng victim again.
I think that’s because the accused is almost always another Utahn’ with church connections, which creates problems, if you know what I mean. Just about everyone in Utah is related to everyone else, and that’s not a joke.
Ok, so now we got the guy, but he’s “hooked up” in Utah. You know, mommy and daddy descendents of huge, massive polygamy families. Hell, the prosecutors are probably related to him.
The Gregerson Family will likely figure out how to profit from this, as most Utahn’s profit from everything.
I remember a Farnsworth kid from Arizona and his buddy Porter taking a little girl in Gilbert, AZ a couple of years ago. Didn’t kill her though. Everything went away real quietly. A couple years in prison.
Arizona State Senate leader’s son and friend sodomized (repeatedly) 18 children at a camp last summer (2005). Well, no joke, they got 30 days in jail.
I only point this out because, if this guy was not “hooked up,” his family would have been chased out of the state, and only God knows what else.
Craig and his family WILL be treated differently, than if the family had no been part of the church and its beginnings…
I hope the media give Utahn’s what they want. Now unwanted…,Lots and lots of media attention.
The same kind of attention they would demand for a non LDS person/family.
This is evil, now what will happen is even more evil.

Farnsworth and Porter were both given 25 to 30 years in prison - which is where both of them are - Lewis Prison in buckeye arizona.
