Soccer coach accused of raping 14-year-old Girl says she met man, 22, on MySpace.com:
(08-04) 16:19 PDT SAN RAFAEL — A 22-year-old youth soccer coach who allegedly raped a 14-year-old girl he met through the MySpace.com Web site was arrested earlier this week, San Rafael police said.
Ivan Chavez of Richmond was arrested Tuesday and booked at Marin County Jail on rape and sodomy charges. He posted a $100,000 bond shortly after his arrest.
Chavez is a self-employed contractor who coaches a girls’ soccer team at De Anza High School in Richmond and two club teams of girls age 14 to 18 in Contra Costa County, police said.
In May, the 14-year-old girl from San Rafael told police she had been sexually assaulted by a man she met through the popular Web site. She said she began having Internet conversations with a girl named “Alexi,” who said she was a model and could introduce the girl to her agent. The victim provided her cell phone number and received a call from a man named Ivan, police said.
The victim told police she met the man in San Rafael and he drove her to Richmond, where the attack occurred, police said.
A few weeks ago, the victim spotted the man and reported him to police.
I was unable to find Chavez’s real or fake MySpaces.
The slump continues.

It is amazing how you can go to school with somebody for so many years and think you know them. I have never suspected Ivan to be a person that would do something of this nature, but then again who can you trust now-a-days. I think this is awful and I am just so appalled by his actions. It is awful!!
