Brandon Menard

by Trench Reynolds on August 5th, 2006

I’ll mention Steve Huff directly up front because this was all his work…

L.A. man arrested in slaying of family:

LOS ANGELES - A man was arrested Friday for investigation of murder in the deaths of his parents and 16-year-old sister, whose bodies were found at their San Fernando Valley home, police said.

Police said the three were stabbed. They offered no immediate motive.

The bodies of David Menard, 56, and his wife, Toni Menard, 55, were discovered Friday morning inside their Northridge-area home, while the body of their daughter, Ashley, was found in the backyard, said Officer Jason Lee, a police spokesman.

Brandon Menard, 20, was arrested Friday night, Lee said. He was jailed without bail.

Police said Menard told officers he found his parents dead upon arriving at their home about 6 a.m. Officers later found the girl’s body in the backyard.

Thanks to Steve we have not only Menards’s MySpace and Menard’s LiveJournal but also Menard’s DeadJournal.

Again check out Steve’s entry as it is as in-depth as it gets.

It’s interesting how this part is in his myspace page:

Do you get along with your Parents: OK with my parents…unless they’re on one of they’re SCHIZO stages.

what i think hes trying to say is, we all have used “im going to kill you”, and we have all had problems with our parents. you cant tell a person by thier myspace, or even thier aim. the only way you can know someone is by being with them and experenceing things with this person, thats the only way you can know someone for real. i was one of these people, and i dont beleive he could have done something to this extent.

I went to Portola Middle School with Brandon and I only heard about this recently. In middle school he was the class clown; he was pretty funny and told funny stories all the time. He was respectful of others and a nice person to know. We all have dark sides and sometimes people can be driven to terrible things. Or people can snap. Whatever happened, I feel for Brandon now.
