Attorney General Corbett announces arrest of Allegheny County man in Internet “child sex sting”:
HARRISBURG - Attorney General Tom Corbett today announced that agents from the Attorney General’s Child Predator Unit have arrested an Allegheny County man as part of an ongoing undercover Internet “child sex sting” operation.
Corbett identified the defendant as Alan D. Peters Jr., McKeesport, Allegheny County.
According to the criminal charges, on March 24, 2006 Peters, using the screen name “Gmcserria96,” approached an undercover agent from the Child Predator Unit in an America Online (AOL) Internet chat room. At the time, the undercover agent was using the assumed identity of a 13-year old girl.
Corbett said that Peters allegedly began the conversation asked the child “what’s the oldest guy you hung out with?” He then proceeded to explain in graphic detail the sex acts he wished to perform with the 13-year old girl, and allegedly sent her three nude photographs of himself.
According to the criminal charges, during a series of Internet chats over the next several weeks Peters continued to discuss various sex acts he wished to perform on the girl. He also allegedly proposed meeting “maybe one weekend when my folks are away - you can stay over.”
Corbett said Peters allegedly provided his cell phone number so that the child could contact him someday after school.
The criminal charges state that Peters confirmed his desire to meet with the girl during two calls to the cell phone number he had provided. During those calls Peters had conversations with a special agent from the Child Predator Unit, acting in an undercover capacity as the child.
Corbett said that on May 3, 2006, during on online chat with the undercover agent, Peters allegedly asked the girl “do you wanna stay here one night” and “will you do anything I want to do?” He also allegedly proposed that she bring a friend along.
On Friday, May 12, 2006, at approximately 6:20 p.m., Peters was arrested when he arrived at a Murrysville, Westmoreland County convenience store where he had agreed to meet the 13-year old girl. Peters was driving a vehicle matching the description he had provided during online chats.
Peters was taken into custody by agents from the Attorney General’s Child Predator Unit and officers from the Murrysville Police Department.
Corbett said a search warrant executed on Peters’ residence following his arrest resulted in the seizure of a personal computer, condoms, beer and a gift bag of flowers discovered in a small refrigerator in Peters’ bedroom. Analysis of those items is continuing.

Noticed a social connection between Alan D. Peters and Dustin Pawlicki…
Looks like Dustin has a friend on his myspace page that goes by the name of “kevin.” On Alan’s page theres a comment at the top from someone who goes by the name “*|*|* Krys *|*|*.” If you look on *|*|* Krys *|*|*’s myspace page she has the same friend, “kevin.” Coincidence or connection? I wouldn’t be surprised to find more…
