Attorney General Corbett announces arrest of two Pittsburgh men in Internet “child sex sting;” arrests mark 50 captures by the Child Predator Unit:

HARRISBURG - Attorney General Tom Corbett today announced that agents from the Attorney General’s Child Predator Unit have arrested two Pittsburgh men as part of an ongoing Internet “child sex sting” operation.

Corbett noted that 50 suspected child predators have now been captured in Pennsylvania since he created the Child Predator Unit in January 2005.

Corbett identified the defendants as Dustin Pawlicki, 20, 582 Dewalt Drive, Pittsburgh and Eric A. Cohen, 23, 319 Morewood Ave., Apt. 8, Pittsburgh.

According to the criminal charges, Pawlicki and Cohen used Yahoo Internet chat rooms or instant message programs to contact and sexually proposition undercover agents from the Attorney General’s Child Predator Unit. At the time, the agents were using undercover online identities of 13-year old girls.

According to the criminal charges, Pawlicki, using the screen name “sithlord914,” first made contact with the undercover agent on June 5, 2006 using a Yahoo Internet chat room.

Corbett said that during their initial online conversation, Pawlicki was told that he was communicating with a 13-year old girl. In addition to asking a series of detailed sexual questions during that online chat, Pawlicki allegedly transmitted two photographs of himself, including one showing him completely nude.

Corbett said that during the first online chat with an undercover agent, Pawlicki allegedly proposed a meeting for the purpose of having sex with what he believed was a young girl, commenting that “I can do it right now if ur (you’re) game.”

According to the criminal complaint, Pawlicki arranged to meet the girl June 8, 2006, but missed that meeting, explaining “I slept in.”

Corbett said that on June 12, 2006 Pawlicki allegedly arranged another meeting with the child. During that online chat, Pawlicki allegedly suggested that he meet the girl in North Huntingdon and take her back to her home, asking “do you think we can get naked as soon as we get to ur (your) house…?”

The charges state that Pawlicki later cancelled the June 12 meeting because he did not want to miss work, but arranged to meet the child two days later.

Corbett said Pawlicki was arrested by agents from the Attorney General’s Child Predator Unit and officers from the North Huntingdon Police Department on June 14, 2006, when he arrived at a pre-arranged meeting place in North Huntingdon Township, Westmoreland County. At the time of his arrests, Pawlicki was driving a car that matched the description he allegedly provided during an online chat with the undercover agent.

Corbett said that Cohen, using the screen name “ecohen23,” allegedly approached an undercover agent from the Attorney General’s Child Predator Unit on April 24, 2006, using the Yahoo instant messaging service.

Corbett explained that Cohen had allegedly initiated an online chat with an undercover agent from the Harrisburg area, who provided Cohen with the screen name of a “friend” from the Pittsburgh area. The screen name that Cohen made contact with belonged to an agent from the southwestern Pennsylvania office of the Attorney General’s Child Predator Unit, who was using the online identity of a 13-year old girl.

According to the criminal complaint, Cohen sent another message to the undercover agent on May 9, 2006 and began an online chat when the agent responded. After being advised that he was communicating with a 13-year old girl, Cohen allegedly began asking a series of sexual questions and proposed a meeting.

Corbett said that during an online chat on June 1, 2006, Cohen again suggested a meeting for the purpose of having sex, adding “we should spice it up a bit.”

The criminal charges state that following several online chats, Cohen arranged to meet the child in Murrysville, Westmoreland County, adding that “I forgot to pick up some condoms, so I’ll have to get some on the way…”

Corbett said that on the morning of June 16, agents from the Attorney General’s Child Predator Unit observed Cohen leaving his Pittsburgh residence and driving toward the predetermined meeting place. During that trip, Cohen allegedly stopped at a pharmacy in Monroeville and purchased a package of condoms.

Corbett said that Cohen was arrested by agents from the Attorney General’s Child Predator Unit and officers from the Murrysville Police Department when he arrived at the designated meeting place. At that time, Cohen was driving a vehicle which matched a description he had allegedly provided during online chats with the undercover officer.

Ok, any 23 year old male who is reading Harry Potter definitely has some issues.

Guys, if you need to get laid it’s slightly better to get arrested for soliciting a hooker than it is getting busted with an underage girl. Now you’ll forever be known as a pedophile.
