MySpace for the missing
Missing people made public on MySpace:
This is a great article about a woman from Georgia by the name of Randi Hess who is using MySpace to help find missing people…
Randi Hess spends up to 130 hours a week in front of her flat screen.
Most of that time is spent clicking away at the popular website Myspace. She uses the networking site for different reasons than the average user.
“These children are out there somewhere, somebody has to know or see them, and if they’re not seen, you’re not going to pay any attention to them,” said Randi Hess.
Everyday Hess posts missing people on a MySpace profile, just in case the millions of web surfers who look at the site recognize a missing person.
She shares with others why this cause is so important to her. At 12-years-old she was abducted, and had a close call again during college.
“He tried to pull me into his truck and by me being left handed, and I swear that’s what saved me. I snatched off my high heel and I started beating the Jesus out of him with that heel,” said Hess.
I urge you to go to her MySpaces and add her as your friend and see if you can help. They can be found here and here.
