Police Arrest Drug Suspect They Say Flaunted Crimes on Myspace:

With an estimated 100 million members, it shouldn’t be too surprising that not all of those people on Myspace are following the rules.

Police say criminals are comfortable marketing their skills on Myspace, and an apparent example came this week in Manteca.

The name Miles Murphy came up during a routine drug investigation in Manteca. One officer mentioned to another he remembered Murphy participating on Myspace. That’s where police found pictures of Murphy but also pictures of guns, marijuana, and cash. His job description on that site: “drug money, ya dummy.”

Despite this week’s arrest, Murphy’s site is still on the Internet where millions of people are browsing each day — some of them police investigators.

And some of them are just opinionated assholes like me who just happen to have Murphy’s MySpace. I don’t know which is worse, the fact that he has gang art and pics of a gun and drugs or the fact that he also has pictures of kids.

YOU KNOW THE OLE SAYING “YOU PLAY YOU PAY”. HE JUST RIGHT OUT ADVERTISED WHAT HE DID. IF HE HADN’T OF WANTED TO DRAW ATTENTION TO HIMSELF HE SHOULD NOT HAVE “ADVERTISED” THEY WAY THAT HE DID. I FOUND HIS MYSPACE TO BE REALLY SICKENING AND FRIGHTENING.

I agree Diana. And the comments came from people equally pathetic.
