Mom defends behavior on MySpace
Information on Hospitalized Baby Found on MySpace:
I don’t know what to make of this one…
For five days a baby boy has been holding on in critical condition at Sunrise Hospital. Eyewitness News is now learning more about the infant.
Police and hospital staff have not been able to tell us much about how the baby boy ended up at the hospital on Monday night. They say only that he was “in bad condition.”
The boy’s mother wrote about her son’s condition on her MySpace account.
A family friend of the child’s mother told us there are accusations the baby was shaken. The mother says that’s not true.
His mom refers to him as “Brayden Angel.” He is two months old and has been on life support for five nights.
According to his mother’s MySpace account, her interests are listed as a model, exotic dancer, and go-go dancer. She named the Internet page, “Please get better baby.” So far, dozens have written to console his family.
According to the site, police accused the boy’s mother of abuse. It also says he has swelling in his head and severe bleeding.
On her site, the child’s mother says police suggested she shook Brayden. She wrote she would never hurt her son.
What happened to this baby remains a mystery for now, but there is an outpouring of support on her MySpace page for a boy who is in the middle of the fight of his life. It’s a fight they are praying he wins.
Eyewitness News tried to contact the boy’s mother, but we got no response.
On her MySpace page, she says a decision will have to be made soon about whether to continue life support.
I couldn’t locate the MySpace, if anyone knows of it please let me know.
