I received the following e-mail from one Justin Melendez…
i have contacted my laywer and he will be activly persueing your company for slander charges i am giving you one week to remove my name from your site i was found not guilty the whole situation was made up my name is justin melendez and u have an article posted on your web site i suggest you remove it as soon as possiable or i will forcec to sue for slander this is no joke
Mr. Melendez is referring to this entry.
First of all it’s libel not slander when something is published. Secondly what I posted was taken straight from the Hartford Courant. So if you sue me you have to sue them. If you can show me some kind of online proof that you were found not guilty I will be more than happy to remove your name from my site. Until then I’m sure your lawyer will tell you that you have no case.

It’s only libel if it isn’t true. And since the arrest was public knowlege then he has a problem.

Did it ever occur to you that it’s the wrong Justin Melendez. There are many. How do you know this is the right one?
