Another craigslist drug bust

Suspect Arrested for Selling Marijuana on Internet:
Yet another dope dealer on craigslist…

Detectives were investigating ongoing complaints from various citizens that illegal narcotics were available for purchase on the popular Internet site Craigslist.org.
Eugene Church responded to an investigator’s request, offering to sell the undercover detective 4 ounces of high-grade marijuana. The detective arranged a meeting with Church to purchase the marijuana Church had offered. Church agreed to meet the detective on the 5000 block of Kanan Road in Agoura Hills on Wednesday evening.

After observing the suspect arrive by automobile at the pre-arranged location, Church was arrested by a uniformed Sheriff’s Deputy. A search of the vehicle yielded multiple packages of high-quality marijuana, all of it individually packaged, totaling approximately 5.5 ounces. A digital weighing scale was also found in the vehicle.

Church was booked at the Sheriff’s Pre-Trial Facility in Ventura for transporting and possessing marijuana for sales. Church is currently out on bail on another marijuana sales investigation in the city of Beverly Hills.

The street value of the seized marijuana has been estimated at $3000.

Well at least craigslist is making it easier for police to catch criminals.
