MySpace 2 Snoped
This really doesn’t have to do with crime but one of my biggest pet peeves is the forwarded e-mails and MySpace messages and bulletins that perpetuate urban legends. I haven’t actually received anything about this one yet but I thought I would help put it to bed before it got out of hand.
According to Snopes there is no such thing as MySpace 2. So if you receive an e-mail stating that Tom is in debt and will start charging for MySpace and you believe it, you’re an idiot. Tom hasn’t owned MySpace for quite some time and as far as I know he’s in decent financial shape.

I know what you mean…as a fellow MSer, it’s a pain in the ass getting all these bulletins about how Tom’s deleting profiles/charging for them/launching MS2, glad Snopes has finally addressed the subject!

The problem is that these are the people who believe everything they see on the internet except for Snopes.
