Cape Coral gang murders

by Trench Reynolds on October 19th, 2006

MySpace links trace violent ‘gangsta’ path:

Meant to be a social networking Web site, MySpace.com has been linked to sexual assaults, pornography and now, killings in Cape Coral.

At least five people charged in connection with the murders of two Cape Coral teenagers have used MySpace.com to showcase their lives as wealthy, sexy people. They also affiliated themselves with a gang called Cash Feenz, police said.

Ashley Toye, 17; Melissa Rivera, 20; Iriana Santos, 16; and Cody Roux, 19, put profiles on MySpace.com. Another suspect, Kemar Johnston, 20, who hadn’t been arrested late Tuesday night, also has a profile on the site.

The teenagers who were killed, Jeffrey Sosa, 14, and Alexis Sosa, 19, also had posted on MySpace.com, but their profiles were private and unavailable to unlisted visitors to the Web site.

And we have some MySpaces.
