WATERFORD The California man who came to Waterford to sleep with a 14-year-old girl he met on MySpace was sentenced to two years in prison Friday.
Scott Carrier, 20, of Vista, Calif., pleaded guilty to second-degree sexual assault of a child for his July actions. He was accused of flying to Wisconsin, getting a motel room within walking distance of the girls home and bringing her in through the side door. When the girls father came to the motel, Carrier met with him and gave the man his name. He admitted his actions to police. The girl turned 14 two months before the incident.
The pre-sentence report describes him as immature and foolish, said Assistant District Attorney Randall Schneider. He seems to be. I dont know what happened to his common sense.
James Martz, Carriers attorney, said his client did a stupid, stupid thing, but gave him credit for owning up to his actions immediately. Martz also laid blame for the incident on the girl involved.
Carriers complete sentence includes two years in prison and four years of extended supervision. He may be able to serve the extended supervision outside Wisconsin.

I have been on myspace for over a year now and have encountered many disgusting men and teenage girls. I was part of the “myspace vigilantes” before having to delete my profile due to threatening emails from the sickos that I was screaming at via the keyboard. I also got so disturbed by some of the pictures and words used by some of the creeps and oversexualized young girls.
These men are disgusting as are the parents that allow these kids to put webcams in their bedrooms and equipping them with digital cameras.
I heard about this site through Rolling Stone and I am loving it. I wish I could help bust some of these pervs but it got to where it truly put me in a crappy mood 24/7. keep up the good work!
