Deputy fired, 2 others suspended over MySpace posts:
I originally posted about the Georgia sheriff’s who were in hot water over their MySpaces here. One has been fired and the other two have been suspended

One deputy as been fired and two others suspended because of postings made on their MySpace.com profiles.

Jason Izquierdo was terminated Thursday after going before the department’s disciplinary review board, Richmond County Sheriff Ronnie Strength said.

Izquierdo’s profile contained an animated image from the movie “American History X” of a neo-Nazi stomping a black man’s face. It also contained remarks on how to remove blood from a police uniform and “suggestions” to the people he encountered on patrol that had racial overtones.

Izquierdo’s profile has since been made private, meaning it can only be seen by his friends on the social networking Internet site.

Deputy Philip Hambrick was placed on 10-day suspension. Colby Harrell was suspended for two days. They were disciplined for using sheriff’s department property in personal pictures.

A photo on Hambrick’s profile showed him with his department-issued Glock handgun. Harrell had a photo of his personal motorcycle next to his patrol car.

As of Thursday, Harrell’s profile had been set to private, and his main profile picture showed only his motorcycle. No definite profile could be found on the MySpace site for Hambrick.

Yeah, I can see how someone could get fired for that.
