Brutal rapist on MySpace?
Fox 31 Investigates Brutal Rapist’s MySpace Page:
DENVER — Fox 31 News has learned that someone claiming to be Brent Brents � one of the most violent sexual predators ever arrested in the Denver area � has a personal page on the popular website MySpace.
Complete with mug shots and a description of �convicted rapist� who is looking for a �lovely lady,� the webpage claiming to belong to a man that brutally raped and/or beat eight people � two of them 11-year-olds � already has four �friends� listed. What’s alarming is that the four young people initiated the dialogue with the person behind the page. But officials are concerned particularly about one communicant, who asks �Brents�, �How did you do it?�
There is no way to tell for sure if it’s actually Brents behind the postings.
The Colorado Department of Corrections was not aware of the MySpace page. But a spokesman says Brents is serving a 1,000 year prison term in an out-of-state facility and does not have access to the Internet.
The Denver District Attorney�s office said that it was �disgusting� that Brents � real or not � could have a presence on the Internet. However, along with the Corrections Department, they say there is nothing they can do about it.
They may have done something about it because I was unable to find the MySpace in question. However it sounds like a fake to me.
