A Charlotte County teen is accused of using the internet to sell marijuana to police. Seventeen year old David Carroll boldly posted on his MySpace page that he smokes pot and sells it. He even posted a picture of his pot, what weed is best for you, and captioned pictures “stoned like always.”
Carroll told undercover police on MySpace he would meet them at a local gas station.
When Carroll showed up, police were ready for him and quickly made an arrest.
Carroll was released to his mother and grandmother, but on Wednesday, they didn’t know where he was.
We asked Carroll’s grandmother if she would watch his online activities a little closer now.
“He don’t get online now. He’s not getting online with this one,” said Jackie McGee, Carroll’s grandmother.
And here we have Carroll’s MySpace. There’s still at least one picture of his stash still on there.

Stupidity has no bounds. I guess they closed down the Ipswich page already, do you happen to have a cache stored on your harddrive or remember if he had a myspace.com/username so I could try and find one?

What I’d like to know is, what are officers doing wasting their time investigating this for? Don’t they have better things to be doing, like issuing speeding tickets… or even investigating real crimes?
If he was as stupid as the article makes him out to be, I’m pretty sure he would have gotten himself busted without police having to waste the amount of resources required to setup a sting operation!
