Ames woman charged with MySpace harassment:
An Ames woman faces several charges after police say she sent sexually explicit e-mails using an Iowa State University student�s identity to create a fake MySpace account.
Courtney Victorian Savoy, 20, was charged with transmission of unsolicited bulk electronic mail, exhibiting persons and harassment.
Savoy is accused of creating a false online profile on MySpace.com with the student�s name, and then sending sexually explicit e-mails to about 30 people, including the student whose name she used.
ISU police traced the e-mail address to Savoy�s residence, and said she turned herself in Thursday night.
The article does not give a motive as to why Ms. Savoy did this. Probably just some stupid college drama but impersonating someone on MySpace is akin to identity theft.
I could not definitively find a MySpace for Ms. Savoy.

Good. I am experiencing myspace harassment as well right now. And it’s so upsetting that I can’t do anything about it.
