Help find the killer of Dr. David Cornbleet

by Trench on December 22nd, 2006

Family turns to MySpace to find killer of Mich. Ave. doctor:
This is an article about how the family and friends of a murdered Chicago doctor are using MySpace to help find his killer.

The family and friends of a slain downtown dermatologist have turned to MySpace and its late-teen and 20-something users in hopes of solving the crime.

That’s because the person who stabbed Dr. David Cornbleet in his Loop office Oct. 24 is believed to be a male between the ages of 18 and 25, police told family.

So in recent weeks, a family friend has created a page, complete with news stories about the killing, police contacts and information about a $25,000 reward.

The goal is to reach a generation of people who may not get their news from the papers or on television, said Dan Drucker, the boyfriend of the late doctor’s daughter.

“The whole idea is to create enough buzz and awareness about this, that maybe it gets to someone who knows someone else who knows something, and they might step up,” said Drucker.

Here is the MySpace to help find Dr. Cornbleet’s killer. Please take a look to see if you can help. You may be able to help bring a killer to justice.
