Dr. urges Ireland to issue e-mail addresses for students

by Trench on January 6th, 2007

Government urged to make websites safer for children:
An expert on pedophile activity, Doctor Rachel O’Connell, has urged the government of Ireland to issue a state e-mail address to all students in Irish schools to help websites like Bebo verify the users age. Not a bad idea in theory but I can already think of a way around it. What’s to stop an underage student from using the e-mail address of an of age student who doesn’t want to use Bebo?

And the age verification dilemma continues.
