Counterfeits on craigslist
SF COPS SAY COUNTERFEIT BILLS ON THE RISE:
Yesterday I posted about craigslist founder Craig Newmark and some safety tips he had for users. One of those tips was deal in cash. However it seems that you’re not even safe if you do that. Counterfeit bills are in the rise in San Francisco and one man was scammed with them when he tried to sell a Playstation 3 on craigslist. The buyer paid him $1,200 all in counterfeit bills.
Just one more shady activity happening on craigslist.
