Anyway the man in question in the picture is 17-year-old Willem Haymaker from England. He’s the son of an Anglican priest who was beaten within an inch of his life in an unprovoked attack by 15 other youths. Two of the assailants were arrested and tried and only got probation, community service and a £50 restitution fine. So did the attackers thank their lucky stars that that’s all they got? Nope. They made a rap song about it and posted in on the British networking site Bebo. Bebo has removed it but check out the lyrics.
Flying kicked the kid… punched him in the face and then smacked his ribs, threw him up against the fence and then smacked him again, he was finished, his whole f****** face was diminished.
We stamped, and stamped and stamped again, I bet he’s thinking his whole f****** world’s at an end, one Jonny Wilkinson and that’s the end. This is how the story goes, broke an innocent boy’s nose, blood all over my clothes.
Saw a big commotion, it all went in slow motion, ring a ding ding, stepped into the ring, three kicks and digs all I saw was bleeding, what was the meaning? All I remember, I know it weren’t clever, all I heard was girls screaming f****** leave him, left him not breathing, left old Bill to clean him.
These kids that were arrested are 15 and 16. You’ve seen the devastation that they did to Willem Haymaker. The author of the rap says he regrets his action in the attack but it doesn’t seem that way to me. Anyway, parents? Anyone? Bueller?

He didnt get a custodial sentance because he has been tagged with a curfew preventing him going out at night and a 2 yr order where he has to been seen twice a week also 100 fine and expelled from school. He is not 16 he is 15. Not justifying it in any way but he is my son and all the public with there opinions dont consider my 7 yr old daughter when she is being pointed at while walking through town with me and shouted at, and on one occasion threatned it should happen to her.My 18 yr old son, who has never been in trouble in any way in his life has also been threatned and cant go out at night.

Maybe you the mother need to impress upon your son what he has done to your family rather than trying to make us feel sorry for you. It isn’t going to work! By the way, aren’t you the parent who first blamed the people of Bexhill for not having anything for young people to do? Then, after there was a backlash against you in the papers, you then blamed it on your son being depressed? Get a life! Maybe all of you need to wake up and realise what was done to the victim? Sometimes lessons are hard learned. And before you try to take the high moral ground, talking about a £100 fine, play fair and let the readers know the truth - your son also had yet another more serious charge against him, for assaulting another innocent person. It’s a pity he didn’t end up in gaol, maybe it would give your daughter and other son some breathing space because the public would see that your son got what he deserved. Stop trying to push the blame on others and grow up! Your son is a vile disgusting scum criminal and from how it appears he has destroyed other peoples lives. I wonder if they’re depressed?

I’m disgusted with all of them! We don’t know Willem, but we’ve seen him in town before. He’s polite and kind to people and he certainly didn’t deserve this.
But we DO know that this loser who spoke on the BBC again didn’t tell the truth. There were three people singing on his rap song and this guy was the leader. The only person who was bothered by what happened wasn’t even there.
What a bunch of losers! ALL OF THEM!!! And apparently there parents are too!

I have never tried to or will try to justify what he did but i have stood by him. What would you rather i did? maybe kick him out into the street so he can persue his life in that way! or maybe make sure that he never does anything like this again! Your opinion is wrong and i am not going to allow anyone to make this any harder for my family than it already is. I have 2 other children to care for also and unlike you consider how all this makes them feel. So carry on with your nasty comments about ME if you feel the need.

Only the people who were there know what actually happened that night, but still what ever the problem there was no need, no cause, no reason to handle it that way. They were worse than animals and i think it is people like that, that act without thinking that are making this world so vile. There is no taking back what happened, and i think they should stop! Think! and sort out there lives.

what your son did was certainly very wrong.
But consider that the boy’s father, the “vicar” or “reverend” who has pontificated so much about your son’s evil crime is himself a convicted criminal who went to jail in his native USA for theft in 1999. He is also a notorious fraudster with multiple past credit card frauds. Five years ago he was evicted from the local vicarage in Bexhill when the local dean found out that he was carrying out funeral services despite that fact that he was not ordained. Although he pretends that he has a vicarage in Bexhill in reality he has no congregation and the address of his “vicarage is his one-bedroom flat. He can call himself a priest because he has conncections with an internet church originating from USA where literally everybody can call himself priest and where ordination can be bought over the net.
Isn’t it striking that it tends to the one’s with the darkest own personal history who point the fingers most when someone else makes a mistake? Maybe you want to look into this man’s activities as much as he has looked into those of your family.

Just read about this in the Mail on Sunday and can honestly say I’m disgusted by the whole thing. Crimes like this is exactly why we should bring back hard labour. I’m sure that a year of breaking rocks in the evening after school would make him think twice about his actions.

We are following up on those kind of crimes for a long time now and have come to the conclusion that the system does not work.
The bullies receive no punishments and the victims are not revenged.
Please post the address of the assailant and then it will be an eye for an eye. As i get it from the report, Willem suffers from a loss in vision.
Your son, Natalie, will soon to and you should be happy about it, because we will serve the justice that you could not and i understand that you as a mother will not so put your mind to rest as we will do what you failed to do. Punish your son.

Yeah, really…that’s the same country which, back in 1993, sentenced the young killers of toddler Jamie Bulger to a mere 8 years (it was later increased to 15 years, but inexpcliably struck down as “too harsh”!), granting them new IDs upon their 2001 release.

There’s nothing wrong with youth speak except that in using it here they’re showing off, not really communicating with us. It’s meant to be an affront.
Everyone would be in better shape if the boys were put away. Mom and her kids would be in a better place. It’s not her fault her son got sent home. It is most certainly nothing to do with her other kids. The public is so incensed they’re lashing out where they should not. And the boys need to be away from society. They have no place there. They made choices.
Fairness serves every single party involved, even the kid criminals. It’s fair they be put away. Ever notice how it twists a kid when they lie and get away with something? They think they are a worse person than if they just took the heat. These boys earned severe repurcussions. It is in their best interest that they receive their due.
I watched that kid’s interview. Yikes. His responses were troubling, none of them “right.”
Clockwork Orange came to mind. Naughty bad boys prowling the streets being all badass and in your face and whatnot. Can’t think for themselves. Pack mentality. Celebrate violence. They made these choices. There were not mitigating circumstances. They like violence. If there’s any hope of changing them while they are young, they must be put away, restricted, receive intense treatment. They LIKE this shit, like their badass identity, chose and created it. They are enduring trouble as it stands.

What the fuck?!?! Our blinders make this shit possible. They are bad boys. Too late to say they just did a bad thing. They chose to make themselves bad. They celebrate it. Yes, they can possibly remake themselves, but not with these petty repurcussions. Not while they are being persecuted. Not while they feel defensive for their families. They need to be in a place for bad boys facing the horror of what they’ve made themselves. Their world needs to be shattered if they are to remake it.

I, for one, can proudly say that, while I do spend too much time on the computer, I am not a geek. In reality, I’m closer to a nerd with far too much time on his hands. Furthermore, you weaken your argument both by merely participating in this little tiff and by engaging in gang-related activities, neither of which contribute to society in any substancial positive fashion. Those who live in glass houses ought not throw stones, and those who do should not take themselves, or at least their arguments, too seriously.
Thank you for showing that you can, in fact, type relatively normally. I’ve met at least one person who spoke in Leet, acronyms, and bizarre slang even when in polite company, and I hope to never meet another.
