Church thief poses with cross on MySpace
New evidence in case: MySpace page
Vanilla Ice over there also goes by the name of Moisae Martushev. He’s an 18-year-old from Alaska whose been arrested for breaking into a string of Anchorage churches. From one of those churches, Holy Spirit Episcopal Church in Eagle River, he stole that rather large cross that he’s holding in the picture. Someone tipped off police. A local reporter directed the Rev. Bob Young to Martushev’s MySpace.
While police can’t prove the items Martushev is posing with on his MySpace page belong to the church — they haven’t yet recovered the objects — for Father Bob there is no question.
The disappearance of the processional cross caused much angst for the church. The cross was more than a symbol of God — it was also a symbol of perseverance for the Eagle River church. It was one of only a few objects that had survived two fires at Holy Spirit Episcopal.
To make matters worse Martushev was arrested when he tried to pawn some of the other items from the churches.
You know what comes next don’t you…

OMG what an idiot. I can’t wait till the prosecutor sees his page with all of the illegal fire arms and weed pics on it. He better get a good lawyer!

A revolver and a cross, now that’s a combination you don’t see everyday. It must be real tough living in Alaska where they live by the gun and die by the cross, or is it live by the cross die by the gun? He stole the cross from church and that big ass revolver from a museuem, or a Civil War renacter. I only have five words for Vanilla, what a fucking deustche bag!
