RapSpace II: Electric…you know the rest

by Trench Reynolds on February 13th, 2007

Rap on MySpace gets four teens suspended from school:
This isn’t the first time I’ve posted about a homemade rap song on MySpace getting kids in trouble. As a matter of fact I think it’s at least the third. This time it’s from Loveland High School in Colorado. Four students were suspended after posting a violent rap song on MySpace threatening several students at the school.

“The knife in my pocket is aimed straight for your back,” one of the boys said during the song.

Police are investigating and criminal charges are likely.

I’m sure I’ll hear from someone who will say that the wanna be thugs are just misunderstood boys.

If anyone had ever been to the actual town of Loveland in CO they wouldn’t be surprised. And they wouldn’t hesitate to take the majority of the inhabitants of that lovely area seriously.

This is just another one of those thought crimes. Let these kids be kids for crying out loud.

Sure, when I was a kid I used to threaten to stab people in the back all the time.

Take your Big Brother persecution complex back to your tin foil covered basement.
