Stolen UTD instrument found on craigslist

The black market otherwise known as craigslist strikes again. Six students of the University of Texas at Dallas (UTD) had their musical instruments stolen. Sure enough, one of the victim’s recognized her stoled instrument on craigslist. The student worked with police. Police met the seller. Seller, one Nicholas Barton, was promptly arrested. Then Barton was arrested again after he was barred from entering all Waterview Park phases except for his own, proving again just because you go to college it doesn’t make you smart. Apparently it doesn’t give you any motivation either…

When UTD Detective Jon Hooper asked him if he was “a music guy,” Barton responded, “I’m a money guy.”

“Barton then explained he had high aspirations and wants to be an actor, and has no desire to have a normal job,” according to the arrest warrant. “However, the need for money drove him to steal the instruments, which he planned on selling on Craigslist.com.”

That college education is really paying off.
