Incidents at UW-Oshkosh
Facebook, MySpace can be gateways for predators:
It seems that the University of Wisconsin at Oshkosh recently had some incidents related to social networking sites.
In one incident one student received unwanted e-mail from someone her saw her MySpace. In the other and more creepy incident someone showed up at another students dorm room after seeing her profile on Facebook.
Luckily no one was injured in either case but it does show what can happen when you share too much personal information online.
