Stolen trailers on craigslist
It seems that the Portland, Oregon area is having a problem with stolen utility trailers. Take a guess as to where they’re being sold. I’ll give you a hint. It rhymes with dregslist. It seems that the suspects would haul off the trailers, strip and repaint them and sell them on craigslist. Police have arrested one Andrew Culbert but his female cohort Linda Shearer is still at large. Police have also arrested 37-year-old Brian Judd. Police say that at least 1,000 trailers have been stolen.
Who needs a back alley anymore to sell stolen goods when craigslist makes it more convenient?

EXACTLY! Craigslist KNOWS that they have become the place for thieves to sell stolen items.
We tried posting stolen music instrument information - including police report numbers and serial numbers - on Craigslist - only to have CL staff delete ALL of our posts becasue we had cross-posted in multiple cities. When we contacted Craigslist explaining that a guitar stolen in one city is easily sold in another city and that is why we needed to cross-post, their decision was to BAN us!
The people who run Craigslist are just as bad as the criminals - they are giving the criminals a haven to easily sell stolen items.
