DA: Teen posted pictures of his marijuana plants on MySpace:
More evidence that pot makes you stupid. 18-year-old Moua Yang of Sheboygan came up with the brilliant idea to post pictures of his indoor marijuana crop on his MySpace. Not only that but the caption of “My Mary Jane thats growin in my closet right now,” let police know exactly where to look for it. Police found out about his green thumb when he posted on another social site about his experiences with pot and ecstasy and his gang activity. He’s looking at almost 4 years behind bars. But…
Red’s foot would grow in the closet that is your ass.
I couldn’t find a definitive MySpace for Yang.

Educate your self, the more facts you learn the more you will agree that the fact that anyone gets arrested for cannibis in supposedly free country proves this is not a free country. the only reason GWB is different from the guy from my space is he did not get arrested when he smoked it. GWB is only another hypocrite in a long line of hypocrites since 1937 when this disgrace to this country and shame on every American started. If you have ever taken even an aspirin and believe people should be arrested for smoking pot you are a hypocrite too. The problem with people like you is that there hypocrisy is so great they cant see the forest for the trees.

I call my self a spiritualist and I also believe that we are not free in america as the government says we are.
I smoke pot and am highly educated as well as a lucrative business owner(and no I don’t sell drugs). The stupidity of this boy and his myspace should not be blamed only on his pot smoking, but also on his lack of common sense to begin with… It also stated he was involved in gang activity, where’s his brain there??
Where are these kids parents?? He was only 18. I am a mother and I would rather any day have my children smoke pot over drinking or other kinds of drugs, But believe me when I say my child WILL be held responsible for his actions.
How about that stuff Salvia (look it up) you can smoke that right on a street corner, and be halucinating for up to an hour LEGALLY. LEGALLY TRIPPING it’s like smoking a mini hit of LSD!!! This is what are wonderful government would rather have our children smoke when they grow up that and ciggerettes. Great government…

So much for a free country.
Marijuanna doesn’t lead to more drugs people do.
Cigarettes are more addicting than marijuanna.
Pot doesn’t kill anyone, alcohol is more destructive to society than marijuanna.
Our country spends so much money on police funds for marijuanna when it’s harmless.
Marijuanna could lead to other drugs if it is laced with something else for example crack cocaine.
but straight up marijuanna is a natural herb that comes from the ground. then i guess trees should be illegal and i guess any fruit or vegetable should be illegal too.
SOCIETY DRAWS NEGATIVE ATTENTION TOWARDS MARIJUANNA I THINK IF WE ALL HIT A BLUNT YOU’D CHANGE YOUR OPINIONS.

first off id like to say how morally and mentally idiotic belch is. You sit on your computer boasting about how you don’t support drugs, gang violence etc. but you dont realize its not your place to talk your a disgusting human being if i can even call you that. What goes on in this country is the result of stupidity but not from its citizens its from its leaders children in countries like russia has more common sense than an adult in this country(lets say blechspeak) and a more extensive vocabulary you know why because their presidents don’t have a 5th grade education and dont have people writing their speeches for them. I’m not saying this kids actions are justified but they are the result of this countries selfish want to fulfill their twisted agenda of globalization. This kid did get what was coming to him because gang activity is always negative, but the fact most of you look past that and choose to discuss something as meaningless as marijuana shows where your true allegiance lies, not in this country not even in its people but self gratification for doing something the goverment tells you is an A+ helping fight the war on Drugs (Your fighting the war on america your the terrorists, most people fear prison more than they fear terrorists because the this country is the soul-embodiment of terror)Alerting the Police about people you’ve never even met and then joking about how he is in prison and you are not,When you should feel responsible, down right repulses me this is the worst kind of hypocracy and you shouldn’t even be considered civilized people. Open your eyes no one chooses to acknowledge your existence, more than half this country scolds this kind of action rather than praises it.
This is a straight up non-bias opinion it had nothing to do with drugs it had everything to do with your stupidity and shame(belchspeak) and if this hasn’t convinced you to change consider the fact that most people against drugs and violence are that way because they want to repent for past actions so stop living in the past see the future and see the kind of world this will become .

Belch just so we are clear the main point i was trying to make is the U.S. government has no place in deciding what its citizens should or should not do because it is on a level of corruption and hypocracy that many if not everyone in the country can’t even begin to fathom. More laws Have been put into place for personal gain than the gain of the people. Then people LIKE YOU come along and defend them thinking they are right without thinking outside the box.
Your idea of “breaking the law” is too closed minded maybe you should stop analyzing people’s lives and live your own.

AFreeMind is a mental midget. He thinks “the U.S. government has no place in deciding what its citizens should or should not do.”
Newsflash dumbass. That’s what the governement does. You can’t name a single law enacted for anyone’s personal gain. I love how stoners demand that people “open their minds.” You sit there and deride normal law abiding citizens for obeying the law without offering any well thought out alternatives to law enforcement that would be acceptible to society. And somehow that makes us “close minded?”
Thinking like that will get you a visit to the courthouse. Have fun with that.

exactly it has NO right as soon as the government decided “oh let’s change the constitution, cause we can” they became unfit to handle the responsibility given to them by the people.
Government officials have been convicted for using their professional positions for personal gain, including efforts to secure future employment at businesses with which they had negotiated contracts and to receive kickbacks on other deals, and these are the people you trust to make you safe in your home people who care for themselves first and above all others?
Deride “normal” law abiding citizens hahaha my aim was to deride you for being a douche to kids who could in another case could be your own you have no remorse for your input on OTHER peoples lives and you justify this by saying that the government is perfect and right w/e your a waste of my time like trying to read the constitution after bush and his administration wiped all their asses with it.
Isn’t it funny how you just told me im breaking a law by thinking the way i do, and you think me not agreeing with your way is punishable by a trip to the courthouse someone sounds a bit “closed-minded?”
this was a fun little time killer though i thank you for showing me how ignorant someone can really be you have a nice vocabulary though

You are the one that needs the history lesson. I already know - you are the one who is questioning and seems to think pictures of pot on a website are a real crime. Yes - arresting people, dump people like the kid in this story, is really going to help society. Good way to spend our taxpayers money. Arrest pot smokers/personal growers, and let sex offenders and predators out of prison. Yeah - that makes a lot of sense. I feel real safe with these laws.

By the way belch is insulting us I’d say he needs to stop playing that broken record because we heard it a thousand times and despite his efforts of rephrasing it, “it still sound like shit” again i repeat to him we dont need to prove anything your the one too blind to see what your own government is doing, Try looking it up yourself and dont just google it like a computer chair ridden monkey because until you start learning for yourself instead of taking in what the government wants you to KNOW your life will always be lived in ignorance and a false sense of security
Laurie does the patriot act ring a bell? lol
BelchSpeak
Jul 6, 2008 at 4:58 pm
Laurie, you keep making up delusional scenarios that are not grounded in reality- which is par for the course for paranoid dope smokers. No sex offenders have ever been released from prison to make room for a pot smoker. There is plenty of room for both, and maybe the pot smoker will learn what it is like to be sharing a jail cell with a real hardened criminal. It would serve him right for breaking such a simple law.
And FreeMind, you don’t know anything about the patriot act other than what you read on far left wing websites. You still havent named a single law enacted to benefit a person. And you won’t because you can’t. You are the one making the assertion that the government is wicked and corrupt, so prove it.
Laurie
Jul 6, 2008 at 5:38 pm
Belchspeak - Amazing how you twist what I have said. I never said sex offenders were released from prison to make room for pot smokers - what I said was, basically, let the punishment fit the crime, and use common sense in our legal system. Something that is sorely lacking in many cases.
The discussion started about this person who made a stupid mistake, who was arrested with his own help, and then went to anyone smoking pot or breaking the law, and what our government should or should not do. I am always amazed at what people will let themselves get worked up about, and what we will use our resources for.
We spend so much money on prosecuting and imprisoning pot smokers - who usually sit around and do nothing, but yet, we do not prosecute and punish sex offenders to the fullest extent, nor do we have treatment in place for all victims, nor do we spend money and research hours on the issues of sexual offenses, and what to do with predators and pedophiles.
This is a crime blog, and will report on all sorts of crimes, but I can’t see getting all excited because some dumb a** was caught growing a few plants. Trolling the internet for stupid people can pay big premiums career-wise, I guess.
And, if you are referring to my comments of us becoming fossil fuel as delusional, take a look around at our environment.

Who gave Saddam Weapons to fight iran?
Who started a war that has left more innocent people dead than terrorists?
Who passed a law saying no one can protest within 2 miles of the president? (i’ll answer that a chicken-shit pussy president that knows what he is doing is wrong)
In 2005 Congress passed a law that allows members to go down to the local IRS headquarters personally, or to send an agent, to learn all about your income or your family
where is the freedom of privacy there?
i dont see it must have slipped away
You may not choose to believe it but many Americans have disappeared because of the patriot act and where on your cnn does it say what they did thats right you dont see it because the government tells you what to believe and you do. Just make sure you remember this blog as they through you in an unmarked van and your never seen by your family because they don’t care the majority of the citizens are nothing to them they are selfish and take what they need without you realizing it and once they have it you really think they are gonna care who you are or what you said to defend them no. The government only wants one thing from you their undeniable allegiance and you give it to them you think the government gives a shit about pot smokers? no its just one more reason to put someone in jail because they feel they are the masters of us and although and since we supposedly choose who they are we are to blame when the government goes to shit this country is on the brink of anarchy cause by its own government and if your to busy ripping on a kid for being stupid you won’t even see it coming funny thing is i dont pity you because you choose to believe what you believe and that is true freedom so enjoy it while it last because it does have an expiration date

Laurie, just because you love to smoke dope and criminals are going to jail for smoking dope doesn’t mean that the government is broken. Sounds to me like they are prosecuting criminals. If you smoke pot, you are a criminal. Suck on that. Im sure it tastes rather bitter to you. And there are not enough pot smokers in the Pacific Northwest to vote and make pot smoking legal, either. Too many productive members of society will keep it illegal with their votes.
And AFreeMind, thaks for proving you are a raving paranoid lunatic. So the government is making people disappear, eh? Of course you have no proof, just like you would never be able to point out the law that grants the boogie man to look at tax records. I’ll give you a free hint. All of the US laws are here.

Wow BelchSpeak - you sure do take what someone says and run with it. Kind of like what the media does when it needs to get the facts straight but instead feeds into public hysteria. I never said I was a pot smoker - just defending people who do - because in my opinion it is ignorant of us to pursue pot smokers when there is so much else in the world that needs attention. Like starving people, abused kids, prostitution, kids shooting kids, heroine, rape etc etc etc.
Someday, you will see, it will be legal - it should be today. It is much safer than alcohol. You don’t see kids going to the hospital for pot poisoning. You don’t see rapes occur because someone smoked a joint. Alcohol is the original date rape drug, and yet it is legal. Wow. We have our priorities straight.
I am not going to even remark on what AFreeMind has to say - I will respond to what he said earlier - and what you have twisted.
“More laws Have been put into place for personal gain than the gain of the people. ” Is what he said - but you turned it into an individual thing. They are two different issues altogether. You are so wound up defending your position, that you fail to really get what someone is trying to say. You never learn anything by not listening, and thinking you know it all already.

Laurie,
I don’t have to defend any position. My position is grounded in facts. It is yours and FreeMind’s assertion that laws have been enacted for individual or personal gain that must be proven with even an iota of fact, but you still wont provide proof because it doesn’t exist.
It is a fallicy of your argument to suggest, even slightly, that by enforcing drug laws, that somehow things like rape, heroin, prostitution or kids shooting kids is a tougher problem to deal with, or that there are not enough resources dedicated to working the issues harsher crimes. You already tried to imply before that rapists go free from jail to make room for a pothead. The justice system is equipped to deal with all of the other problems plus drugs. And the prisons can handle rapists and murderers plus drug offenders.
I am listening. In fact, I am demanding answers. Just one law. Name one law enacted for personal gain. One. 1!
Laurie
