Scotland police force uses MySpace in missing persons case
MySpace appeal for missing man:
Police in Scotland are using MySpace in hopes of finding a missing person.
Adam Alexander, from Errol in Perthshire, has not been seen since he failed to show up for an appointment at his home in November 1999.
Police said his disappearance was out of character and remains a mystery. Detectives re-investigating the case are now hoping for fresh leads after setting up a website on the social networking site.
It is thought to be the first time in Scotland a police force have used such a site for a missing person’s inquiry.
The internet page includes photographs and a profile of Mr Alexander, details of his disappearance and a link to Tayside Police.
The MySpace to help find Adam Alexander can be found here. Take a look. You never know if you can help if you don’t look.
