Brother posts sex ad for sister on craigslist
Police blotter: Unbrotherly love in Craigslist sex ad:
It’s not what you think but this is still one for the ages.
Michael Taffaro, of Bergen County, N.J., was involved in an estate dispute with his sister Susan. He posted a sex ad on craigslist claiming to be taken out by his sister.
A mysterious posting subsequently appeared on Craigslist.org, the popular community Web site, purporting to be from Susan. It amounted to, in the words of one judge, “a salacious offer of sexual favors” that was “extremely objectionable” and involved “deviant sex acts.”
Considering Mr. Taffaro was ordered by a judge not have any contact with his sister, directly or indirectly, the court was not pleased.
Police were able to trace to ad back to Mr. Taffaro’s computer but he denied it stating that two of his friends posted the ad while using his pc.
He was charged with 4th degree contempt and during the trial again tried to blame it on his friends.
According to a transcript of Taffaro’s testimony: “(Ng and Portela) are saying, ‘Oh, don’t worry about it. It’s a static IP, they can never trace it.’ I said, ‘Look, get that thing off, I’m not going to get even with my sister by doing something stupid. I’ve got an inheritance battle. I can’t do nuttin stupid.’”
So not only did he harrass his sister but tried to pin the blame on his friends. Here’s a thought. Don’t let your “friends” use your pc. Then you won’t get blamed for “sumthin stupid”.
