Tenn. MySpace threat turns out to be hoax
Arlington High School gets police attention in response to Myspace hoax:
A student of Arlington High School posted on MySpace that he was going to shoot up the school. The threat was posted over the weekend and a lot of students skipped school because of it. Local sheriffs talked to the kid who allegedly posted the threat. I guess they determined that the threat was not credible. But you have to love this quote in the article…
According to students, he has a brain injury.
What does that exactly have to with anything?

Isn’t that the latest blame for the Chris Benoit murder-suicide? Gosh, I hate to think that all people who get concussions all the time in sports or car accidents are going to turn psycho sooner or later.
Oh well. It seems like that’s the latest craze for teenage angst is to start shooting people like an arcade game. Pretty sad. Even though some people like to drop touchy subject cards for attention, I do wonder about their true intentions though. That whole “ending in a blaze of glory” is a truly sad state. I wonder how many people would rather go out in a true blaze of glory by beating up the whole school… the toughness or glory factor won’t prevail long after when the assailant ends up bowled over on the floor, emasculated.
