Baton Rouge MySpace threat

Police: Boys made threats:
Another school, another state, another threat on MySpace. This time it was to eight graders, ages 13 and 16, from Prairieville Middle School in the Baton Rouge, Louisiana area. The threats were targeted at a number of girls at the school. The 13-year-old was arrested and charged with simple battery, simple assault and family in need of supervision. The 16-year-old was charged with indecent behavior, two counts of simple battery, and family in need of supervision. Why indecent behavior?

When asked about the 16-year-old’s indecent behavior count, Chief Deputy Tony Bacala said it grew out of the wording of one of the threats and it had to do with “inappropriate contact.”

It’s pretty sad when you can drive yourself to middle school.
