St. Hugo’s students create fakes
MySpace profiles mock St. Hugo:
The students of St. Hugo’s have struck back. In wake of St. Hugo’s recent policy of having their students banned from MySpace even at home, the students have posted not one but two fake MySpaces for St. Hugo’s.
School officials were not amused to find the bogus Web pages that ridiculed the school’s MySpace policy and characterized its principal, Sister Margaret Van Velzen, as a “nosy busybody” who hits students “across the knuckles with a heavy ruler.”
After the school staff member e-mailed MySpace, the pages were taken down. School officials said the prank illustrates just how irresponsible MySpace pages can be.
As someone who survived a Catholic education I am mildly amused at the antics of the St. Hugo’s students. However I do have a word of advice for them regarding their principal.
Don’t poke the penguin!!!

It’s a shame. In my youth, we would merely physically assault the teachers we didn’t like with spitballs and paper airplanes. I can’t believe how out of control our children have gotten ;)
