Ky. man arrested on arson charges
Man Arrested In Frankfort Arson Case:
34-Year-old Stephen Gregory Malcolm of Lexington, Kentucky was arrested on arson charges after setting his ex-girlfriend’s apartment building on fire.
Three buildings housing restaurants on St. Clair Street suffered extensive damage in the blaze, which happened on March 4. Two floors of apartments above the restaurants were also damaged. No one was injured when the fire tore through the buildings in the early morning hours.
Investigators say Malcom’s ex-girlfriend lived in one of the apartments that was damaged.
Federal, state and local investigators said the fire was “incendiary in nature and intentionally set,” according to a press release. A four-day investigation ruled out electrical, natural gas and heating systems as potential causes of the fire, officials said.
What makes some guys think that arson is a great way of either getting back at your ex or trying to get her back?
