Portland friends hatch intricate plan to recover stolen bike:
While MyCrimeSpace neither endorses nor encourages this kind of behavior this may just be the coolest use of craigslist ever.

Dory Van Fleet of Portland, Oregon had his mountain bike stolen and it turned up on craigslist. Read the article about how him and his friends hatched an ingenious plan to not only get his bike back but also capture the thief.

While the story had a happy ending it could have gone wrong at any point and someone could have gotten hurt.

I recommend that if something like this happens to you is to immediately contact your local law enforcement and let them do their job.

Having said that, kudos to Mr. Van Fleet for taking another criminal off the street.
