Darren Bates sentenced to 75 years
Man Busted Via Myspace Account Gets 75 Years In Beating:
Back in December I posted about Darren Bates. He was the Georgia prison escapee who was busted while checking his MySpace in a Philadelphia library.
The reason he was in jail to begin with was because he was arrested for forcing himself into the house of 88-year-old Estelle Ivey and beating her severely. He was also charged with aggravated battery, entering an auto, theft and burglary.
For all those charges he was sentenced to 75 years behind bars.

why waste taxpayers money? 75 years-he will die in prison for sure-put him to death NOW!!!!Spend the money saved to help victims of crimes!!!!!

actually, the price of getting the death sentence put into effect outways the price of keeping someone in prison. http://www.deathpenalty.org/index.php?pid=cost
