Man charged with burning baby in microwave in Galveston:
Yeah, it’s going to be one of those stories.
Tipster Shyloh brings us this story about one 19-year-old Joshua Royce Mauldin. He’s accused of one of the most unspeakable acts I’ve ever written about in my 7 years of crime writing. He allegedly burned his two month old daughter in a Galveston hotel microwave oven.
Mauldin, of Warren, Ark., was staying with his wife and mother at the Quality Inn Hotel on Seawall Boulevard on Wednesday , the night he is accused of placing the child in the microwave oven, Almendarez said.
“They looked like any tourists you would see in Galveston,” she said.
Mauldin told police that he was working at a fast food restaurant in Warren when “he was called to be minister by God” and decided to begin his ministry in Galveston, Almendarez said.
The family had arrived in Galveston Wednesday and were looking for a permanent residence, she said.
Almendarez said medical evidence and a tip from a family member led police to believe that Mauldin placed the child in the microwave oven. She declined to reveal the name of the family member. The child was in the microwave for up to 20 seconds, she said.
You know what? I can’t even comment on this story. I think it regretfully speaks for itself.

there was typo in my last comment.
i meant you were not there. so how could you know what really happened. you only know what you have been led to believe in the media. about 50% of that was true. also we dont burn in hell for things like this. God will forgive. we will pay a price but if we are sealed with the Holy Spirit and when accept Christ as our Savior we are completely saved. i dont understand it either but i am just thankful He loves us that much.

josh is a generously nice guy and really warm hearted. i dont know what he was thinking but i know if josh was in the right state of mind this would have never happened. josh does have some mental problems that he has been trying to deal with and all. i dated him for a while and i was there when he was going through hard times with his family and his wife. josh and eva were going through a divorce and eva was telling josh that the only way he could see the baby is if they stayed married and raised her up together. joshua told eva he wanted to take care of the baby but he didnt want to be with eva. i think eva and josh’s mother pushed josh over the edge and honestly i dont think joshua realized what he was doing when he did this horrific shit to baby ana. josh needs a hospital so he can get the help he needs, not a prison.

anyone that can defend this man has to be missing a few screws themselves. I don’t care what state of mind he was in at the time. He deserves to be put away and tortured for the rest of his life for torturing that innocent baby. For all of you defending him. Get some help now,before its too late!!!!!
And leave god out of this.This man has no right to even speak of god after what he has done.
