The other day I posted about Joshua Royce Mauldin. He’s the nut job who put his two month old daughter in the microwave. His wife must be as much of a nut job as he is because she’s blaming it on the devil…
A woman blames the devil, and not her husband, for severely burning their infant daughter in a microwave, a Texas television station reported.
Eva Marie Mauldin said Satan compelled her 19-year-old husband, Joshua Royce Mauldin, to microwave their daughter May 10 because the devil disapproved of Joshua’s efforts to become a preacher.

“Satan saw my husband as a threat,” Eva Mauldin told Houston television station KHOU-TV.Police said Joshua Mauldin told them he put Ana Marie in the microwave because he was under stress. Eva Maudlin denied it.
“He would never do anything to hurt her. He loves her,” she said.
She is hoping to be reunited with her daughter, but Child Protective Services is working to have the parental rights severed.
People who are offended by religion may want to turn away. God forbid I should offend you.
Anyway, speaking as a Christian this is a load of crap. From a psychological standpoint you’re both as crazy as outhouse rats. From a theologic point of view the devil does not make you do anything. He may put the temptation there but ultimately it’s up to you to choose the temptation or not. If the devil was to tempt me to put my 2-month old daughter in a microwave I would definitely resist that temptation.
Bottom line is Mr. Maudlin is nuts and needs to be locked up. Mrs. Maudlin may be equally as nuts.

Yeah, I’ve been following this story because it happened not far from where I live. His family is saying that this act was a “tool” of the devil to prevent him from going into the ministry, or some such b.s.
His wife had set up a myspace group called joshmaudlinisnotamonster, it was up yesterday, and full of criticisms. It is gone today, they must have realized they were not going to get much support. Also their myspaces are now set to private, but if you did get a glimpse at hers she calls herself “mentally mature for her age.”
It’s time that these kids quite playing house and learn some responsibility. This is a disgusting crime and I hope that the baby does not get returned to her. He beat her when she was pregnant, had some serious mental problems, and he hurt HER baby. She must have some serious issues to, if she’s going defend him. Where was she when her baby needed defending? Oh, right she was getting her bags and was only gone for ten minutes… her words.
If this is what happens when she leaves her child alone with the father for 10 minutes, then I’d hate to see what would happen if she left them alone for an hour.

Just a quick update. This guy admitted in court that while he was alone with his baby he:
Threw her from one bed to another.
Punched her in the groin area.
Put her in the hotel room safe and shut the door for “5 seconds”
Put her in the hotel room fridge and shut the door for “5 seconds”
Put her in the microwave and turned it on for “no more than 20 seconds”
And all this happened in the “10 minutes” his wife was getting their bags. This guy is disgusting. Wonder what his wife will say about him now.
I wish I could hang him myself.

Sorry I have to correct something.
Josh Mauldin was originally quoted as saying he put her in the microwave for “no more than 20 seconds”, but that was a misquote. The actual time she spent in there is undetermined.
It really doesn’t matter whether he put her in there for 1 second, or had her in there for a minute.
He wanted to hurt his child.

i dated josh while him and his wife were split up. josh is not the type that would do something like this, by far. his wife (eva) doesnt want the baby and i know this for a fact because while josh and i were together she called and told us (me and josh) that she (eva) was gonna put the baby in the car seat and leave it on the hospital steps in warren because she dont want her. now if that aint f**ked up then i dont know what is. i honestly believe eva had alot to do with this…not just josh. eva should be locked up as well and she should definitely not get that baby back. im not by no means trying to take up for josh but seriously eva is alot to blame. i bet she was even there when all this happened. she even only told the news her side of the story…i guarantee if the news came to me and asked any questions regarding eva and josh i could really make this process go alot quicker. if yall wanna know more about these 2 people let me know .

This girl is INSANE!!!!!!! As a mother of a young girl myself, it SICKENS me that she would defend this man, husband or not. Gold HELP my husband if he ever hurt my daughter.. God help him..
Now, this girl Eva, made a myspace page in defense of her husband, Not a page for prayers for her poor baby- but all in defense of a man that is clearly evil and mentally disturbed.. She has since deleted since she quite obviously did not get the “support and help” she had hoped for. Every single person that went into that group told her exactly how it is!!! And I’m glad for it.
I hope they keep that baby FAR AWAY from both her and her husband.. And I hope he spends every single day of the rest of his life in PRISON where he BELONGS!!!!

Okay I grew up with Josh… he went to my school and worked at the sonic in my hometown. He was generously nice… but I can not tell you what he was thinking… I think that all you so called “CHRISTIANS” need to rethink your lives, because believe it or not… people are changing the Bible’s true meaning. I think that he let the idea of GOD overtake his mental state and drove him crazy, because he felt like he had to live up to you hyprocritical bullshitters who make up stuff in the Bible (The Word Of GOD)and try to put off your shame on others because you can’t come to the reality that you can’t live your life right through your “so called religion”. This man is sick. I don’t buy the insanity defense because he has the knowledge to lie to police and say that he spilled hot water on his little baby by mistake. If he was “insane” then he wouldn’t have had to lie to police. This story makes my skin crawl with discust for this horrible person. I have a small 10 month old daughter myself and cannot for a fraction of a second imagine EVER doing anything like this to her, or any other child. This man is sick and should be lock up for life to think about how much of a horrible sperm doner he is. I wish I could adopt their daughter because my husband and I could provide her with a loving, nurturing family that she will not have with that man and women ever.

And no, I will not find myself in this situation, so don’t try to have self fulfilling prophesies on my life, that’s horrible that you would even think that about another family being in their shoes.. just horrible and disturbing. Even in the Bible it talks of a man who was demon posessed. He was naked because he tore off all of his clothes and didn’t nobody even wanted near him. The demon’s called themselves “legion” because there were many. Jesus allowed the legion to be cast into pigs and the pigs went mad and ran off a cliff. The man was perfectly fine after that. I’m not saying that this man is for sure posessed because some people can just start screaming insanity the minute they’re accused of something these days and I don’t know him. I believe because he did it, no matter what the reason was, he should be punished. If do hope if he is possessed that sometime in his life in prison those demons will cast out so that he can confess his sin. The rope thing really cracked me up because my husband’s from Garland, TX! He speaks of it well and says Texans don’t put up with idiots like this!

For instance….they (evolutionists) state that the half life of certain radioisotopes is 5700 years! Has anyone been there 5700 years later to actually see it? Or what about the fossil proof of life forms changing from one species or kind to another? The cambrian explosion pretty much shows everything as it was and there’s no half species or mutations. Mutations are a loss of information, not a gain. There are no beneficial mutations. And if the giraffe or the woodpecker had to wait while their brains evolved, they would have died trying…..and no evolution could have taken place.
Science even shows an intelligent designer had something to do with it all!
A cell is so complex that we cannot even build one for ourselves! WE cannot even explain or make electricity yet we think we know where it all began from science?
Science only answers a couple of the whens and wheres but no whys and no hows?

Please show me any proof from evolution that mutations are beneficial……show me proof of fossil data that shows species that are EVOLVING and in the transitional stages of doing so…..because go from a quadraped to a bipedal species requires a completely different set of muscular and skeletal frame, among other physiological and biological adaptations.

Evolution has got to be the most stupid theory that MOST scientists disagree with. And to say there’s NO God means you’d have to have ALL knowledge and there’s not a person out there (a smart one not an idiot) that will tell you there’s NO God FOR sure. They don’t know becuase they aren’t God.
Me and you have a belief system. Yours is a naturalistic/secular humanism type of religion and mine is a belief in the Maker of the heavens and the universe…..Jesus Christ! Without Him noting would not have been made.

Unfortunately, the baby here in this news story didn’t deserve to be nuked in a microwave oven. The Bible even talks about the death penalty…..Jesus never rescinded it! Paul speaks of the law in the New Testament.

Science doesn’t disprove God……it just shows His handiwork! Science uses reason and reason is different for everyone. Like I said before, you don’t know what electricity is nor do you know how the earth was made. You may believe in a big bang but how did it all start? Evolution doesn’t say…cuz it hasn’t the foggiest idea.

Are you a scientist? And if so, you should be able to show me proof of evolution without an encyclopedia ;)

It makes no difference how often I hear these stories, each and every one brings me to painful tears. The roots of violence are planted in child abuse. Child abuse has been practiced for centuries. It is recycled from one generation to another. It has now reached crisis proportions. If society doesn’t soon make the practice of child abuse a major national crisis recognition, it will reach levels that threaten national security and the daily quality of the life of every American.

Uuuummmmm, where and when did I say that? My belief system is based solely on the Word of God. Not my words, but His words. Not my rules, His rules.
If you can give a better example than that, maybe I can agree.
Christians are not perfect! I am not saying that. The reason I believe in God is that I know that I am a sinner and doomed for hell. I repent and turn to Him and He forgives anyone that realizes that we cannot do anything on our own. I am not saying I ask Him permission to use the bathroom, but He is the light that shows my path…..
I’m not sure where you heard that lie, but I didn’t say it. There’s bad people in every walk of and color of life!

wow…….what a mess, i can’t believe there is so many people that don’t believe in god anymore or think that you can be moral and not be christain. being moral is following God’s commandments, without those commandments there is no sin and if you don’t believe in
God, why on earth would you follow his commandment??? or be moral?? you can’t be moral without Him, if he withdrew His holy spirit from you, you would be as horrible as the devil himself. it is said in the bible that man can do no good that it’s only His holy spirit that can make us holy, a man’s heart is a cold, dark and evil thing only the light of God’s holy spirit can make us do good, you will see that when the last days come, God will finally take his holy spirit out of the people that constantly reject him and you will see nothing moral comming from them, just evil. i seen that someone saying that what Josh did was too disgusting to forgive, well maybe in our eyes it is, but not in God’s eyes, God said there is only one sin that will not be forgiven and that is blasphmey against the holy spirit, so what makes you too good to forgive something like this when God can forgive it??? I’m not taking up for Josh, but did you even know that even what you call is a “white lie” is as bad as what Josh did to this baby? maybe not in your eyes but in God’s eyes it is, to Him a sin is a sin, doesn’t matter how small, it is still a sin. the sin that Eve did in the garden cost us our lives, it’s because of that why things die and why we all will die at some point, it seemed like a small sin, even to Adam and Eve it seemed small, but it sure did carry a heavy price that we still pay today. what i have to say about Josh is, yes indeed he did a horrible thing, but he doesn’t have to answer to any of us for the things he did, but to God and if he repents then God will forgive him and forget his deed. i would think it is a good idea to keep him in jail so another child won’t suffer such a thing, because if he does this to his own child, heaven knows what he would do to someone else’s child.
