A former Detroit man who received nude pictures of two teenage girls via the Internet is sentenced to five years in federal prison.
Prosecutors say Jonathan Fend promised one of the girls that he would kill her parents.
The 21-year-old pleaded guilty in February to one count of receiving child pornography.
The F-B-I determined that Fend had met a 13-year-old from North Carolina on MySpace-dot-com. U-S Attorney Stephen Murphy says the girl indicated she wanted her parents killed, and Fend replied he was willing to do so.
Murphy says Fend started an online “romance” with the girl and two of her friends — then persuaded two of the girls to send him unclothed pictures of themselves.
And here we have Jonathan Fend’s MySpace. You know, there’s no shortage of goth chicks his age. But he’ll have 5 years to lament that choice.

Was the girl punished or arrested for soliciting a hit man to kill her parents? I’m not justifying the pervert being in prison, that’s right on, but it seems like the girl should be in some degree of hot water, as well.
