Craigslist house hoaxer pleads not guilty

by Trench on May 26th, 2007

Woman charged in Craigslist hoax pleads not guilty:
Nichole Blackwell, the accused craigslist house hoaxer, has pleaded not guilty to charges of second-degree burglary, first-degree malicious mischief and first-degree criminal impersonation.

Blackwell left court without comment Friday. Her attorney, Ted Rogge, said he doesn’t think the charges against his client will stand up, despite the fact police said she confessed to placing the ad.

Blackwell was released on her own recognizance and is forbidden from using the internet until the trial is over.
